| Abstract Scope |
Numerous devices for energy conversion into electricity are essentially based on magnetic materials. Therefore, a more sustainable way of life requires the improvement of the magnetic properties of alloys and compounds, but also the enhancement of some secondary properties that make these optimized magnets be usable in actual applications. In this talk, I will focus on experimental techniques and models that can be instrumental for the enhancement of soft magnetic and magnetocaloric properties and for assessing the applicability of these materials in devices. |
