Abstract Scope |
Cesium lead bromide (CsPbBr3) perovskite nanocrystals have great potential in the applications of optoelectronics and bioimaging. In this work, the growth behavior of inorganic CsPbBr3 nanocrystals under stirring was studied in-situ via an antisolvent method. The photoluminescence measurements showed red shift of the photoluminescence-peak wavelength, suggesting the growth of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals. An empirical relation was used in analyzing the temporal evolution of the photoluminescence-peak wavelength of the synthesized CsPbBr3 nanocrystals, from which the corresponding characteristic growth times were determined. Using the temporal evolution of photoluminescence-peak wavelength, the apparent activation energy and the growth index for the growth of CsPbBr3 nanocrystals were determined. The growth index increases from 1.04 to 1.85 with increasing the stirring speed from 0 rpm to 1000 rpm, and the apparent activation energy increases from 8.34 kJ/mol to 14.13 kJ/mol.
