Abstract Scope |
In the present research work, the compressive strength of Portland cement was evaluated with a replacement of 15% of fly ash. The results at 28 days showed improvements in strength, demonstrating the potential of the substitution to improve the properties of cement in construction. The results indicate that fly ash provides a compressive strength benefit. Additionally, the characterization of the starting materials is carried out by different techniques, Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) and X-ray Diffraction (XRD). All physical measurements are carried out within the framework of the ONNCCE regulations. |
