With the continuous development of social industry, human demand for energy is growing in a blowout manner, and the increasingly depleted fossil fuel resources and the resulting pollution problems have become the bottleneck restricting the development of human society. Magnesium-air battery is a new energy storage device with application prospects. It has the characteristics of high capacity ( 3833 mAh cm-3 ), low reduction potential ( -2.37 V vs. SHE ) and green pollution-free. As a new anode of magnesium-air battery, Mg-Li alloy can provide excellent discharge performance. However, the traditional melting method has the disadvantages of uneven composition, lower produce dendrites and unstable discharge voltage. In this paper, LiCl system was electrolyzed by molten salt electrolysis, and Mg-Li alloy with uniform composition and stable discharge was prepared by using magnesium liquid as liquid cathode. The discharge voltage and anode utilization rate of magnesium air battery were significantly improved. |
