Abstract Scope |
Kaolinite, as an essential non-metallic mineral resource, its high purity products are widely used in chemical, electronics, construction and other industrial fields. Kaolinite often coexists with vein minerals such as quartz, so it is important to separate and purify kaolin clay. According to the single-factor test, the problems of high collector consumption and low flotation yield exist in the conventional kaolin clay flotation process. In this paper, microbubble flotation technology is used to improve the collision probability between bubbles and target minerals, so as to improve the flotation yield of kaolin clay. The results of the study showed that the flotation yield of kaolin clay reached more than 80% under the optimized process conditions. This study provides a new approach to enhancing the flotation process of fine-grained minerals. |
