Abstract Scope |
The demand for compact, high-performance optical filters has been rapidly increasing in modern photonics applications. In this regard, graphene has emerged as a promising material due to its exceptional optical and electrical properties. This paper presents a novel approach for designing a tunable plasmonic TE−TM mode waveguide filter utilizing the unique properties of graphene. Simulation results demonstrate the tunability and performance of the proposed filter design. The device exhibits narrowband filtering behavior with high selectivity and low insertion loss. Moreover, the tunable nature of graphene allows for wavelength−specific filtering, offering versatile functionality for applications such as wavelength division multiplexing and optical sensing. |
