Abstract Scope |
Data management and analysis of large datasets has become paramount to scientific research. This has led to a push for researchers to produce FAIR (Findable Accessible Interoperable Reusable) data. An ontology is used to FAIRify data by standardizing terms in a scientific domain and connecting them to specific instances of data from the lab. This research focuses on creating an ontology of a generalized procedure for measuring the lifetime of Multilayer ceramic capacitors (MLCCs) using the aixHALT (aixACCT GmbH) instrument to obtain FAIR data. New procedures are being developed for lifetime prediction that will create large datasets. Such datasets will be available for development of new machine learning tools, making FAIRification critical. Datasets will be mapped on the ontology created to FAIRify the data and automate analysis. Eventual data science tools will have an impact on MLCC development and manufacturing for real world applications. |
