Abstract Scope |
Iron titanium vanadium alloys are widely used in aerospace, chemical and other fields due to their high strength and good corrosion resistance. This article uses vanadium titanium magnetite concentrate as raw material and conducts thermodynamic analysis on the preparation of Fe-Ti-V alloy by molten salt electro deoxidation process in the temperature range of 500~1000 ℃. The results indicate that the Fe component in Fe2TiO5, Fe3O4, and FeV2O4 is preferentially reduced to elemental iron; After the reduction of Fe component in FeV2O4, the reduction of V component occurs (V2O3→VO→V); Before 790 ℃, the Fe component of FeTiO3 is preferentially reduced to elemental iron compared to the Ti component. At 790-1000 ℃, the Ti component undergoes the first step of reduction (FeTiO3→Ti3O5), followed by a stepwise reduction reaction of FeO and Ti components (Ti3O5→Ti2O3→TiO2→Ti), ultimately forming Fe-Ti-V alloy. |
