| Abstract Scope |
Since 1972, I have participated in the IIW Annual Assembly in Toronto and presented papers focused on arc welding processes and automization at the XII committee (arc welding processes and production systems). Starting from 2007, engaged in the development of standards within the ISO/TC44/SC7 and SC10 committees. Furthermore, since 2013, participated in the IIW-VI committee (terminology) to the drafting and formulation of welding-related terminology.
This presentation will provide an overview of some of the papers presented at IIW-XII, as well as standardization activities at ISO and IIW-VI.
Furthermore, many standards related to laser welding/cutting have been published, and I would like to introduce some of them, including those proposed in Japan. |
