Abstract Scope |
Heat dissipation of aluminum electrolysis cell is closely related to energy consumption. Based on the energy consumption trend of aluminum electrolysis in the past 20 years, the energy consumption was divided into three stages. The heat dissipation of electrolysis cell in the three stages were studied. In the first stage (2000 ~2009), the total heat dissipation of typical electrolysis cell was about 1.9~2.0V. In the second stage (2009 ~2014), the total heat dissipation of typical electrolysis cell was about 1.8-1.9V. In the third stage (2015 to date), the total heat dissipation of typical electrolysis cell was below 1.8V. The change of heat dissipation reflects the development trend of energy-saving technology of aluminum electrolysis and the control strategy and idea of energy balance of electrolysis cell. This study will provide theoretical support and data reference for energy balance control and energy saving of aluminum electrolysis. |
