Abstract Scope |
Combination of high-energy synchrotron X-ray diffraction and electromagnetic levitation enables investigation of phase formation during solidification of high-temperature alloys as well as solid state transformations upon heating or cooling. In this contribution, some examples of in-situ studies of bcc-fcc competition and structural ordering in CoCrFeNi-based high-entropy alloys will be presented and discussed. |
