Abstract Scope |
The use of gold nanoparticles (AuNPs) as an antibacterial agent has been demonstrated to be a wonderful decision. Analysis of AuNP's antibacterial activity has also been a hot topic in modern times. AuNP has been shown to have an acceptable performance against a variety of infections. Due to the lack of a consistent experimental approach, data regarding the toxicity effects are occasionally vague and contradictory; as various studies have used different procedures, administration routes, and dosages, equivalent experiments may provide different results. This paper outlines the antibacterial activity of gold nanoparticles against several types of bacteria in order to provide a succinct summary of and insight into the body of information for researchers interested in this topic. It was stressed that there is still much to learn about the potential antibacterial properties of gold nanoparticles as well as their toxicity in both in vitro and in vivo settings. |
