Abstract Scope |
Compared with the chain loop process, the belt roaster pellet has a significant deviation in the consolidation quality of the upper and lower layers of pellets. The uniformity of the consolidation quality and metallurgical performance of the pellets is poor, and the further increase in the feeding ratio is constrained. This article conducts a thorough and systematic analysis of the quality deviation phenomenon of pellet in the belt roaster, identifies the main reasons for the layering phenomenon of pellet and the formation of red balls in the middle and lower parts, and proposes solutions. Through measures such as optimizing the pelletizing process and thermal system, as well as renovating relevant production equipment, significant improvement has been achieved in the quality deviation of pellet ore. On the basis of maintaining continuous stability in production, the proportion of low compressive strength balls is below 2%, the cracked balls are kept below 10%; |
