Abstract Scope |
Regenerative Engineering is defined as the Convergence of Advanced Materials Science, Stem Cell Science, Physics, Developmental Biology and Clinical Translation towards the regeneration of complex tissues and organ systems. Work in Bioceramics has centered on the development of polymer-ceramic matrices for bone regeneration including inductive systems. Through the use of graphene calcium phosphate systems, high strength, robust matrices for bone regeneration have been created. Bioceramics materials have been developed as chelation systems with potential treatment of millions with metal ion related diseases. The field of regenerative engineering offers hope for treatment of complex tissue challenges and Bioceramics play a significant role. |
