Abstract Scope |
3D characterization provides rich multi-modal datasets that can bring new understanding to complex material systems. The collection of these data, however, brings with it a new set of challenges. To leverage these rich experimental datasets and feed them back into state-of-the-art models, a robust framework for handling, storage, and sharing of large datasets is required. Here we present approaches for collection, processing and analysis of diverse 3D data streams. The development of automated workflows enhances data standardization and provides the opportunity to track data provenance from its generation through the final reconstruction process. Empowering users to leverage the full capabilities of their tools with automation similarly offers new opportunities for technique development and higher-quality data acquisition. The integration of high-fidelity experimental data with downstream modeling efforts will also be discussed. |
