Abstract Scope |
The recycling technology for lithium-ion batteries is rapidly advancing globally, driven by developments in key regions like China, South Korea, North America, and Europe. Estimates suggest that by 2060, recycled materials could constitute 74-80% of raw materials for electric vehicle batteries. By 2029, the proportion of used battery materials is expected to exceed scrap generated during manufacturing. To support this shift, developing sustainable methods to recover cathode, anode materials from spent batteries is essential. Our study focuses on an innovative process to efficiently separate and recover cathode materials, anode materials, and Li compounds, aligning with the evolving landscape of battery recycling. |
