Abstract Scope |
In this paper, high-grade magnetite concentrate (B ore) and high-silicon magnetite concentrate (Z ore) were used as raw materials. According to the proportion of raw materials 97% B ore +3% Z ore in a steel mill, the preparation characteristics and metallurgical properties of low-silicon high-iron fluxed pellets with magnesium powder were studied in the laboratory. The industrial production of fluxed pellets with magnesium powder as MgO-containing additive was carried out by belt roaster production process, and the influence of MgO content on metallurgical properties was investigated. The results show that after adding magnesium powder to fluxed pellets, the pelletizing process has little change and is relatively stable; After adding magnesium-containing fluxed, the compressive strength of fluxed pellets tends to decrease, but adding magnesium-containing fluxed is beneficial to the improvement of metallurgical properties of fluxed pellets. |
