Abstract Scope |
As reported in the Slater-Pawling curve, Fe-Co binary metal alloys are known for their high magnetic moment values. Hence, Co addition to pure Fe can improve the magnetic moment and is expected to be used for power electronics due to its high saturation magnetic flux density. However, it has been confirmed that increasing the amount of Co not only improves the magnetic moment but also increases saturation magnetostriction. Consequently, it is necessary to investigate how the magnetic properties change with stress to apply such materials as soft magnetic materials to power electronics. Therefore, in this study, we evaluated and examined the effects of Co content, grain size, and stress on the AC and DC magnetic properties of Fe and Fe-Co binary alloy systems. |
