Abstract Scope |
Plant diseases can occur due to soil, seeds, insects, climate change, and other animals. These diseases can be caused by microorganisms such as bacteria, fungi, viruses. By defeating the immune system of the plant they affect, they create situations that can result in death. Pesticides are mostly used in the prevention or inhibition of these diseases. However, these drugs can cause many problems from soil fertility to human health in the long run. The developing field of biomaterials and tissue engineering promises to prevent this situation. Microneedles, which are newly developing and have just started to be used and produced, will be a good method in the local treatment of plant diseases. In this research, gelatin methacryloyl (GELMA) was used as a matrix material to obtain microneedles and salicylic acid (SA) was added to this solution to investigate the antimicrobial properties of the needles for plant diseases. |
