Abstract Scope |
Epoxy composites are widely used in the repair of offshore pipelines due to their high corrosion resistance, lightness, and durability. Traditionally, these composites are reinforced with synthetic fibers, but there is growing interest in replacing them with natural fibers. This work aims to analyze and compare the properties of epoxy composites reinforced with coconut fibers in four distinct formulations through flexural tests. The objective is to identify a cheaper and more environmentally friendly material for use as a composite. |
