Abstract Scope |
As a key component of aluminium reduction cell or pot technology, along with busbar, potlining, and control systems, the Feeding System can be independently enhanced and modernized without altering the entire setup. INALUM has demonstrated this through the transition from Gate Feeding Systems to Slide Feeding and eventually Shutter Gate Feeding Systems. Building on this expertise, INALUM has developed its proprietary Point Feeding Technology (INAFeed Tech), which has advanced through the stages of design, procurement, manufacturing, and application testing. This advanced technology incorporates new features, such as auto-lock and auto-retract mechanisms, prioritizing local content to meet regulatory requirements, and strengthening the domestic supply chain and industry. Pilot tests of INALUM’s Point Feeding Technology have shown improvements in pot productivity, higher current efficiency, lower AlF3 consumption, and fewer equipment issues, underscoring the robustness and reliability of this innovative technology. |
