High-throughput approaches has been widely accepted as effectively protocols for discovery and development materials with low cost and fast response speed. In the current presentation, the combinatorial and high-throughput characterizations were utilized for establishing the correlation between the composition, microstructure and properties of advanced ceramic materials. For Yb-Ho-Si-O system, the informatics of composition, phase stability, mechanical properties were built, and screened by energy criteria and stress criteria aiming at the design of advanced oxidation resistant interfacial phase for SiCf/SiC composites. For ultra-high temperature Ta-Hf-C system, the structure, mechanical and high temperature oxidation properties were revealed by high throughput experimentation. A complete composition, structure and property database are established, and feasible for the property optimization. |
