Presentation Title Uniform Distribution of the Magnetic Easy Axis on the Lamination Sheet Plane

Abstract Scope The core material determines the efficiency of the electrical machine, which depends on the orientation distribution of the grains, i.e., the crystalline texture. This study aimed to realize a crystalline texture that uniformly distributes the easy magnetic axis on the lamination core plane to improve the material's permeability. For this purpose, it is important to realize more diverse shear deformation states inside the material by conventional rolling deformation. This study confirmed that the grain size and orientation of the material before cold rolling influence the formation of shear stresses inside the grains during the rolling process, and it is possible to control the easy magnetization axis of the recrystallization state after rolling. Through the rotating magnetic field analysis by simulation and measurement of the material, we found that it can improve the performance and efficiency of electrical machines when applied as a stator core material.
