Abstract Scope |
In our Starrydata project, we have extracted numerical data of experimental material properties from plot images in published papers. By interpolating this open dataset containing over 145,000 curves, we have developed two visualization platforms: Starrydata Sample Explorer and Starrydata Explorer 3D. These platforms currently display samples with thermoelectric properties.
In the Starrydata Sample Explorer (https://explorer.starrydata.org), users can query recorded samples based on molar compositions, allowing flexible searches for solid solutions. The molar compositions of the samples are displayed as 2D scatter plots, utilizing principal component analysis (PCA) and k-means clustering. Users can also view scatter plots showing the relationships between various properties at different temperatures.
The Starrydata Explorer 3D (https://explorer3d.starrydata.org) features interactive 3D scatter plots of material properties and molar compositions, with plot colors indicating the thermoelectric figure of merit (ZT). |
