Abstract Scope |
A physicochemical model is proposed for determining the pH of the primary coolant and its detailed chemical one, taking into account the presence of corrosion products. To minimize the corrosion rate of surfaces in contact with the coolant, a pH value in the range of 7.0 to 8.0 should be maintained. The dependence of the coolant pH on the concentrations of corrective injections entering the coolant is considered. The pH was calculated for the {Fe, Zn}-H2O-H3BO3-LiOH - {KOH}-H2 system. There is an urgent task - the possibility of switching to a boron-potassium water chemistry for PWR. The data obtained make it possible to compare the influence of the pH of the medium on the processes of deposition of corrosion products both under the water-lithium water chemistry and under the boron-potassium water chemistry. |
