Abstract Scope |
Cu alloys have been extensively investigated. Immiscible Cu-Fe systems can exhibit a combination of good electrical and mechanical properties. In this work, Cu-Fe alloys have been deposited by magnetron sputtering. Both the composition and deposition parameters have been varied to understand the influence of processing on the formation of metastable phases and mechanical properties. Phase evolutions and texture changes have been detected in Cu-Fe alloys. X-ray diffraction and transmission electron microscopy have revealed the formation of non-equilibrium phase. The influence of microstructures on mechanical behaviors of metastable Cu-Fe alloys is investigated. |
