Abstract Scope |
The constitutive model of metastable ferrous medium entropy alloy (FeMEA) was constructed based on deformation-induced martensitic transformation (DIMT) behavior under cryogenic temperature. The flow stresses of face-centered cubic(FCC) phase and body-centered cubic(BCC) phase were developed respectively. The critical stress criterion and the volumetric fraction evolution model were combined to describe the DIMT kinetics during uniaxial tensile testing. The decline in the dislocation mean free path for the FCC phase was associated with the grain refinement of the FCC phase due to the transformed BCC islands. To verify the model, it was compared to the experimental data describing phase transformation kinetics and the mechanical behavior. |
