Abstract Scope |
Using biomass glucose as carbon source, iron ore powder was carbon coated by hydrothermal carbonization method to obtain carbon coated iron ore powder. The TG-DTA curves at different heating rates were measured by a high temperature integrated thermal analyzer in N2 atmosphere. The kinetic parameters of carbon-coated iron ore powder reduction were verified by Flynn-Wall-Ozawa method and Coats-Redfern method. The results show that the carbon-coated iron ore powder starts from solid-solid reaction in N2 atmosphere, and then changes into solid-solid and gas-solid multiphase reactions. The apparent activation energy of carbon-coated iron ore powder was determined by FWO method to be 85.77 kJ ∙ mol-1. The solid-solid reaction model of carbon-coated iron ore powder was determined as a three-dimensional diffusion model by CR method and considering the fit degree comprehensively. |
