| Abstract Scope |
Aerosol jet printing (AJP) offers a novel approach for the creation of flexible electronics. The conductive inks used in AJP have a short shelf-life and less is known about how the ink changes over time. For this work, two particle-free silver inks and one nanoparticle silver ink were sampled at different points in the aging process. Each ink was pipetted onto a copper grid and then imaged with transmission/scanning electron microscopy. Micrographs were analyzed to quantify the particle morphology, size, and distribution. Data from this work can provide insight into ink atomization and print consistency. |
