Abstract Scope |
As part of the Qualification of Additive Structures for Aerospace Requirements program under AFRL, The Barnes Global Advisors (TBGA) is conducting a thorough assessment of the State of the Art of additive manufacturing of fracture critical components (FCC’s) and identifying gaps and opportunities for further investment at AFRL to achieve the ability to produce FCC’s. In this talk, TBGA will present the current progress of the assessment of the SOTA & Gaps with a focus on computational materials methods and tools. TBGA will solicit input from the MS&T community to further refine the assessment and to provide inputs for the CM4QC roadmap activity. |
