Presentation Title Integrated Cathode Assembly and Energy-Saving Technology

Abstract Scope This technology connects the highly conductive steel rods with cathode by casting phosphorus iron, realizing integrated cathode assembly molding in Alubase plant and achieving the qualified rate of the finished product of over 99.8%. By utilizing this technology, Alubase ensures that the bottom voltage of the electrolytic cell with fully graphitized cathode is maintained at 150+10mV for a long time, which is reduced by more than 110mV compared with the traditional paste cathode. At the same time, it can save more than 5% of the on-site assembly cost of the cathode for new construction or overhaul of the electrolyzer.
