Abstract Scope |
Calcium phosphate nanoparticles (CaPNPs) are increasingly utilized in dental materials for their role in enhancing remineralization, providing antibacterial properties, and ensuring biocompatibility. This mini-review discusses the synthesis and application of CaPNPs in dental treatments, focusing on their ability to restore enamel and dentin. The mechanisms by which CaPNPs promote remineralization, inhibit bacterial growth, and integrate with existing dental tissues are examined. The review highlights recent advancements in CaPNP-based dental materials, their clinical efficacy, and potential for improving oral health outcomes. |
