Abstract Scope |
This paper presents another approach to produce titanium wire from scrap material using Continuous Extrusion Machine(Conform Machine). Conventional production of titanium wire from chips involves a multi-step process based on remelting, which requires high energy consumption. However, continuous extrusion technology enables the production of high-quality titanium wire with minimal material loss and lower energy consumption. Chip preparation is also an important part of the processing. This paper also discusses their preparation and compacting into a suitable shape. The pellets prepared in this way are used as input for the Conform Machine and have a significant influence on the final quality of the wire. |
