Abstract Scope |
Abstract: Ironmaking is one of the important processes in steel production and also the process with the highest carbon dioxide emissions. The carbon dioxide emissions from sintering, pelletizing, coking, and blast furnace processes account for over 80% of the entire process. The carbon dioxide emissions from the pellet production process account for one-third of the sintering process. Therefore, this article studied the high proportion pellet operation technology of a 5500m3 large scale blast furnace, and the pellet ratio was reached over 55% in the 5500m3 large blast furnace. The carbon dioxide emissions per ton of iron in the ironmaking system were reduced by more than 10%. |
