Abstract Scope |
Hydrated salt phase change materials (PCM) have the advantages of adjustable phase change temperature, high phase change latent heat, which is very suitable for making phase change cold compress materials. In this work, a phase change cold storage material (CSM) was prepared by selecting NaSO4·10H2O as PCM, borax as the nucleating agent, PAAS as the thickener, and NH4Cl and KCl as temperature control agents. The phase change CSM with the optimized performance was obtained by adjusting the proportion of different functional additives. In addition, the supercooling, phase separation, phase change behavior and thermal stability of CSMs were investigated. It found that hydrated salt CSMs have great application prospects in cold storage preservation and cold compress field. |
