Abstract Scope |
Discusses advanced structural part fabrication process maturation, design property development, and quality assurance procedures underway within Boeing Research and Technology. The presentation will focus on Laser Powderfeed Directed Energy Deposition (LPDED) using the RPM Innovations 557 Machine – which involves a 5x5x7-ft inert gas build chamber. Alloys actively being matured include Titanium, Inconel and Refractory materials. |
