Abstract Scope |
This review highlights the challenges and future perspectives of biomimetic materials for biomedical applications, aiming to bridge the gap between nature and medicine. It addresses complexities in mimicking biological systems, scalability, biocompatibility, and long-term stability. Strategies such as bio-inspired design and advanced fabrication techniques are discussed. The application of biomimetic materials in tissue engineering, regenerative medicine, drug delivery, and medical devices is explored, emphasizing their impact on biocompatibility and tissue regeneration. Future trends include biofabrication, nanotechnology, and personalized medicine. Interdisciplinary collaborations and translational research are crucial for successful clinical translation of biomimetic materials. |
