Abstract Scope |
The research explores the potential of incorporating agro-industrial residues in epoxy composites to develop sustainable, cost-effective, high-performance coatings. The study aims to contribute to the understanding of how natural fillers affect the mechanical properties of epoxy resins and provide insights into the benefits of using renewable resources in composite material production. This study investigates the hardness properties of epoxy composites reinforced with sugarcane bagasse dust; the reinforcement varies between 10 to 30 vol.%. Shore and Barcol tests were conducted to evaluate the composites hardness. Additionally, the bagasse dust was analyzed using Scanning Electron Microscopy (SEM) to characterize its morphology, particle size, and distribution. |
