Abstract Scope |
In-situ characterization techniques have contributed significantly by offering a more comprehensive perspective into the battery field, shedding light on their behavior during operational use, thus improving our understanding of these energy storage devices. The current study focuses on exploring the behavior shown by 2D and 3D Cu-Sn anodes through the utilization of optical microscopy techniques.
The primary aim of this research is to outline the entire process starting from the synthesis and processing stages of the material, followed by the analysis of the battery's performance, and ultimately establishing a correlation between these factors and the fractures detected through microscopic observations. Furthermore, the study undertakes a comparative analysis between the theoretical and practical mechanical characteristics of these electrodes, aiming to deduce an estimated connection between the changes in volume and the eventual material breakdown. |
