Abstract Scope |
The Bajaderia R.L. Mining Cooperative Located in the community of Bajaderia (La Paz-Bolivia), it extracts complex mineral with grades of 15.46% in Pb, 2.63 g/t in Ag and 14.82% in Zn, which is marketed in brush, presenting large economic losses, requiring the design of a plant capable of treating 50 TMD, a tonnage that was determined by the extraction capacity of the cooperative.
Through this project, the optimal parameters on which the plant should work were analyzed, which will operate through a differential flotation process recovering Pb-Ag concentrates (76.03% Pb-1386 g/t Ag) and Zn-Ag (52.37% Zn-36 g/t Ag).
Finally, the necessary equipment adapted to the capacity of the plant was defined through the individual design of the process and a financial analysis was carried out identifying the profitability and income when implementing a plant capable of processing the mineral that the cooperative extracts. |
