Abstract Scope |
Ti6Al4V alloy has many advantages such as high specific strength, good corrosion resistance and biocompatibility, and is the most widely used titanium alloy. At present, industrial production of titanium materials must be produced using the Kroll method of titanium sponge as raw materials, and the long production cycle, high costs, can not meet the requirements of the development of circular economy and environmental protection, greatly limiting the large-scale application of titanium materials. We have designed and developed a new method for the preparation of Ti6Al4V alloy powder by self-propagating multi-stage reduction and one-step reduction using Ti6Al4V alloy as a representative titanium alloy. The method has completed semi-industrial trials and the world's first production line for the method has been established, which is expected to promote the further development of the titanium industry.In addition, we are conducting research on "theoretical technology and regulation of high performance titanium/titanium alloy thermoelectric coupling preparation". |
