Abstract Scope |
T the basic principle of the techniques and instrumentation as well as their applications, from energy materials[1] to environmhe Diamond Light Source (DLS) is the UK national synchrotron facility, where extremely bright x-ray beams are available to users from the life to physical sciences, with applications from protein crystallography to material and environmental studies.
The activity of the I13-1 beamline at DLS is focused on 3D x-ray imaging at the nanoscale using coherent diffraction imaging (CDI) techniques, namely ptychography and Bragg CDI, to investigate the nanostructure, elemental composition, and crystallographic properties of nanomaterials.
I will introduceental science[2], with emphasis on a move towards in operando studies[3]. I will discuss current limitations, challenges, and future developments.
