Abstract Scope |
In this study, the initial composition and geometry of hydrogel-forming microneedles were defined and drug-loaded hydrogel-based microneedles were formed by digital light processing (DLP). These 3D microneedles contain drugs loaded into bismuth ferrite (BFO) magnetic nanoparticles and consist of layers of hydrogel that will allow gradual drug release in a controllable manner by an electric circuit. With this study, stopping epileptic seizures by controlled release of drugs with electrical stimulation of drug-loaded new-generation hydrogel-based microneedles will be an important output in achieving the goal. |
