Abstract Scope |
Large quantities of work have been done previously on genesis of the Au–Sb deposit in Xinjiang. However, the process mineralogy characteristics of Au-Sb in different area still have not been studied in detail. The objective of this study was to investigate two areas of Au-Sb deposit, in order to determine the distribution and occurrences of Au and Sb and the process mineralogy characteristics. Various techniques were used to detect the content of minerals、particle size and liberation degree of target minerals. The result indicated that Au content decreased from 8.16 g/t to 3.09 g/t. The particle size of Au becomes finer. Gold and stibnite are closely related and difficult to separate in high Au-Sb area. With the decrease in Au content, the relationship between gold and pyrite, arsenopyrite, quartz, silicate gangue becomes closer. The recovery rate of Au-Sb should be improved by adjusting mineral processing flowsheet accordingly. |
