Abstract Scope |
The harsh environmental consequences caused by fossil fuel consumption have left no choice but to search for renewable energy. Energy storages are indispensable to make renewable energy successful in the field of clean energy. The versatility of Li-ion and Na-ion batteries as energy storage has made them unparallel in renewable energy production. Carbon materials are extensively used as anode materials in developing Li and Na ion batteries. Every year tonnage of carbonaceous wastes is produced which imposes a direct threat to our environment unless they are treated accordingly. If we can generate renewable carbon from these wastes by microrecycling and use in Li and Na ion batteries as anode material, will protect our environment from pollution and lead us to material sustainability. This abstract emphasises on the gravity of prospects of carbon materials from waste carbonaceous materials in the form of renewable carbon for developing Li-ion and Na-ion batteries. |
