Recent breakthroughs in metamaterials—engineered materials with properties not found in nature—are unlocking transformative solutions across diverse fields. This talk will explore three key areas of innovation: 1) metamaterials with tunable and nonlinear responses for photonic and optical applications, 2) metamaterials advancing clinical medical imaging technologies, and 3) metamaterials designed for acoustic silencing and noise reduction. These cutting-edge developments are redefining the limits of optics and photonics, enhancing the precision and efficiency of medical imaging, and addressing persistent noise challenges in mechanical systems. Collectively, these innovations hold significant promise for both healthcare and industrial applications. |
