Abstract Scope |
An internal temperature profile (high temperatures) in a pyrometallurgical furnace contributes to continuous and real-time control of the state of the treated metal, matte, and slag. With the implementation of fiber optics through the DTS equipment, external temperature profiles of the furnace are obtained every minute and in real-time. Through theoretical calculations of heat transfer by conduction, convection, and radiation by programming in Python, internal temperature profiles are obtained from the data recorded with DTS. This new application based on this technology will help in all pyrometallurgical processes. |
