Abstract Scope |
New materials need to solve two basic problems in order to transition from the laboratory to the market: first, low-cost mass production; second, finding unique applications and solving key challenges in relevant fields. In this presentation, I will talk about our recent progress on the structural modulation of 2D oxides and some of their featured applications in energy storage fields. Firstly, we developed methods to increase the electrical conductivity and ion conductivity of 2D oxides. Secondly, the progress in utilizing two-dimensional oxides to improve the performance of titanium oxide-based sodium-ion batteries will be discussed. Next, the use of oxide nanosheets as electrolyte additive for Li-metal battery will also be presented. Finally, the progress in using two-dimensional oxides as cathode catalysts for zinc-air battery will be presented. |
