Abstract Scope |
UHV Technologies Inc has developed an efficient sorting technology to expand critical material recovery from consumer electronics and other waste streams, thus enhancing the critical minerals and materials (CMM) supply chain. E-waste streams contain large amounts of REE parts, Printed Circuit Boards (PCBs), and batteries. These components serve as rich sources of REEs and other critical metals crucial for numerous applications that can be used as secondary feedstock for manufacturing. UHV’s sorting technology incorporates advanced A.I. and X.R.F. sensor fusion algorithms developed by UHV for identification of the REEs and other CMM parts. The low-cost, high throughput system can sort different types of material in a single pass. This solves the challenges of manual sorting and creates a sustainable supply chain of the CMMs from the end-of-life consumer electronics obtained from various sources. For the same, UHV shares the LCA and supply chain analysis done for the CMMs. |
