Abstract Scope |
This study examines the optimization of graphitized cathode carbon blocks and their associated linings during the overhaul process of 420kA aluminum reduction cells. Through a thorough analysis of production data and operational conditions, an optimized lining scheme is proposed. This new scheme enhances the thermal efficiency of the reduction cell and significantly reduces energy consumption. The findings provide valuable insights and practical experience for the upgrade and transformation of aluminum reduction cells. |
